Of course, there are no real “secrets” to affiliate marking.

However, here are some websites, magazines and tools to help jump start your affiliate business.  I can’t promise that any of these guides will make you millions of dollars, but I’ve found a few useful tips here and there along the way.  

Magazines and Publications

• RevenueToday.com - free website that discusses the ins and outs of affiliate marketing. Offers a magazine subscription.
• MediaPost.com - if you’re in the SEO / PPC game and you’re not reading media post, shame on you! Go sign up for their daily emails.  Search Insider rocks. 
• Internet Retailer - ever want to know which retailer is making big bucks online? Want to know who’s using which Affiliate network? Turn to internet retailer and find out.  Learn about email marketing, landing pages and other strategies from the big boys. 

Free Tools that I like to use: 

• Webmaster’s Whishlist Put to Life in New SEO SoftwareThis is put out by Link Assistant, a very cool SEO tool
• Firefox – This one is pretty obvious, but some of the plugins out there are great for SEO monitoring. I’ll post some of these later
• Shoe Money’s Affiliate Tools Shoe Money is one of the big guys and he’s made a bunch of tools and fire fox plug-ins to help you.
